Moldovan state-owned railway company Calea Ferata din Moldova (CFM) needs USD 415 Million investments to electrify the railway infrastructure. The investment, which envisages the electrification of some 1,450 kilometres of railway, will allow trains to triple their speed and will lead to a 25%-30% cut in maintenance costs.
