Estonia and Greece, the highest increase in exports in 2011
In 2011, the steepest increase in exports in Europe was registered in Estonia and Greece – 37% each, followed by Latvia, Lithuania and Bulgaria – 29% each.
All EU member states recorded increases in their exports last year. Meanwhile, Latvia’s imports grew 30% in 2011, while Estonia saw the most notable growth – 37%.
Greece was the only member state whose imports decreased – 10%.
