Metro de Madrid to deliver know-how to Chile

Metro de Madrid will provide consultancy for the underground network in Santiago de Chile after a new agreement signed with Metro de Santiago. The consultancy will concern the solution of emergency situations and critical incidents in the network.
The agreement brings Metro de Madrid over EUR 260,000. The contract stipulates the diagnosis of the present situation of managing emergency situations in Santiago network and the elaboration of a development plan for the implementation of new measures.
The managers of the two underground networks have collaborated before in the development of staff training projects.
