JSC “Kaztransservis”and the Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders Association (ILFA) have signed the Memorandum of cooperation and interaction in Astana.
The Agreement was reached within the project “Global Partner”, implementation of which is aimed at establishing active interaction with world leaders in the field of transport logistics.
At the signing ceremony the sides discussed the issues regarding transportation of products of the Indonesian companies from Indonesia, the People’s Republic of China and other countries to the countries of Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Central Asian region and in the reverse direction by transit via Kazakhstan.
As it is expected, the Memorandum will largely promote strengthening the Kazakh-Indonesian business cooperation, favorably influence development of international trans-Kazakhstani routes as well as consolidate the status of Kazakhstan as a competitive transit-country in the world arena.
Moreover, implementation of this Agreement’s positions provides increase in cargo flow from the countries of Southeast Asia to Europe and the Central Asian region, which will favorably influence the economic position of Kazakhstan.
