Poland inaugurates new project before Euro 2012
Poland’s President, Bronisław Komorowski, has inaugurated Poznań Główny railway station at the end of modernisation works. This railway station will be one of the few projects of modernised railway stations completed in time of the European 2012 Championship.
The project was developed by Europa Fund III and Trigranit, the cost of the modernisation amounting to EUR 7 Million.
The 6,000 m2 railway station is the first phase of a major project of 164,000 m2 to include the development of an intermodal transport hub with a bus terminal, a parking lot, as well as a commercial area.
