15/06/2012

The authorities in Rome have announced that the tender for the delivery of 15 new units for metro line B and B1 has been attributed to Spanish company CAF.
As the tender was concluded with savings of EUR 17 Million compared to the initial amount for the contract, the city administration has decided to use the savings for the acquisition of two additional trains.
The contract includes maintenance services for five years and spare parts. CAF has already delivered the S-300 trains running on the lines A, B and on Rome-Lido line.
