A new carriage repair complex in Kazakhstan, financed by EDB
Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will provide $56 million on construction of a new carriage repair complex in Kazakhstan, the bank reported, cited by Trend News Agency.
“EDB signed a loan agreement with LLP Center of carriage services — Eskene as part of project on construction of a new carriage repair complex in Atyrau region of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the bank said. The loan will be provided for 10 years.
The project envisages construction of a universal complex for repair and maintenance of railway carriages, especially cistern cars. Its total cost is $ 70 m.
The main part of equipment during construction of carriage repair complex amounted at $30 million will be supplied by Russian manufacturers.
