New railway transport project for the transport of trucks between Russia and Finland

Russian Railways (RZD) intends to commission a piggyback transport service between Russia and Finland in 2013, the company’s Senior Vice President Valentin Gapanovich told reporters.
This rail link will make it possible to relieve the burden on the Scandinavia highway. RZD and Finnish railway operators need to determine the tariff, he added.
